Dive Deeper
Apple Watch SE was the first entry-level watch for users who want basic health features and fitness tracking. This device debuted alongside the Apple Watch Series 6 in September 2020, and a cellular option was available.
Apple offered the SE in two case sizes, a smaller 40mm or larger 44mm option. Apple also sold a special edition Nike variant, with Nike watch faces and an engraved Nike logo on the back.
Whilst the SE line has historically been Apple's entry-level option, the company continued to sell its three-year-old Apple Watch Series 3 alongside this device for £199.
This remained the case until 2022, when Apple replaced both the 1st generation Apple Watch SE and Series 3 with newer models.
