Dive Deeper
iMac (2007) was a completely redesigned iMac model, replacing the white polycarbonate plastic design with the now-iconic silver aluminium enclosure, front black screen bezels and a glass screen.
At launch, Apple CEO Steve Jobs boasted that the new iMac was made of "highly recyclable" materials and Apple marketed the professional look of the new metal finish.
The launch of the 2007 iMac saw the smaller 17-inch model replaced by a 20-inch base model, and Apple continued to offer the device in a larger 24-inch form factor.
The iMac is Apple's famous all-in-one, designed to reduce desk clutter with everything built in. The 2007 iMac had an iSight front camera for video calls, stereo speakers and a built-in microphone so the only external accessories required were the keyboard and mouse.
Accessories
A slimmer keyboard, called the Apple Keyboard, made its debut with this iMac model, also featuring an aluminium design.
iMac (2007) shipped with the Apple Mighty Mouse, which was wired with USB-A connectivity.
Wireless options were available.

A cleaning cloth was also provided in the box.
