iPhone 12 Pro was the flagship iPhone sold during the 2020/21 product cycle. This device was the second pro iPhone released by Apple.

This generation introduced Ceramic Shield, a corning glass innovation made of both glass and ceramic for better durability and scratch resistance to the front display.

The iPhone 12 family, including 12 Pro, also debuted MagSafe, the magnetic wireless charging system in the back of the iPhone. MagSafe allowed for multiple new accessories, including wallets, cases and wireless chargers.

Dolby Vision made it's debut on this device, allowing for 4K Dolby Vision video recording up to 60 fps.
