Product Information:
iPhone 15 was the mainstream consumer iPhone sold during the 2023/24 product cycle. It remained in the lineup for a further year, at a lower price of £699.
iPhone 15 featured the same A16 Bionic chip as iPhone 14 pro, and introduced the Dynamic Island to the standard iPhone model. This was previously a pro-level feature.
The devices frame received softer, contoured edges following complaints of the sharp edges on iPhone 12, 13 and 14.
The back glass was also updated with a colour-infused panel, replacing the silver apple logo with a colour-matching logo instead.
This was the first iPhone lineup to use USB-C, ahead of new regulatory requirements set to be enforced in the European Union.
Apple upgraded iPhone 15's main camera to 48MP, a year after it was first introduced to the Pro lineup.
