iPhone 17 is Apple's mainstream iPhone for users who want a modern & capable iPhone. This model has a very similar display to iPhone 16 Pro, featuring a ProMotion display on the base model iPhone for the first time ever.

The ProMotion display can reach a refresh rate of 120Hz, providing a smoother experience when scrolling through content on the device, or interacting with the Liquid Glass elements of the user interface.

In addition to ProMotion, iPhone 17 has thinner bezels compared to the previous generation and has an Always On Display.

This model was first introduced in September 2025, retailing for £799 in the UK. In September 2026, Apple increased the price by £100 to £899.
