iPhone 17e is Apple's entry-level iPhone designed for users upgrading from old Android or iPhone models. It is also a great option for those looking to get their child their first phone.

17e succeeded iPhone 16e and introduced MagSafe to the entry-level iPhone for the first time and doubled the starting storage to 256GB, in line with the rest if the iPhone lineup.

Apple launched iPhone 17e at £599 in the UK in March 2026. In September 2026, the device received a £100 price hike to £699.

iPhone 17e is missing many core features compared to other models, including the Dynamic Island, ProMotion display and thinner bezels. The device also only has one back camera lens, which is also capable at 12MP 2x Telephoto.
