iPhone 5 was released on 21 September 2012. The iPhone 5 was the first iPhone to have a larger screen at 4 inches and was advertised as being 18% thinner and 20% lighter.
This model was the first iPhone with a Lightning connector, more compact and reversible compared to the old 30-pin connector on previous phones.
iPhone 5 was released with Apple Maps, this received lots of criticism from customers as the app contained errors and was not a sufficient replacement for Google Maps.
