Dive Deeper

MacBook (Mid 2007) was Apple's mainstream consumer laptop model that Apple sold alongside its MacBook Pro lineup.

In Apple's press release announcing the refreshed MacBook, the company claimed that this device was the reason that "Mac sales are growing three times faster than PC sales".
