Apple's CEO is already using the iPhone Duo, over a month before public release in late October, showing off the device in an interview with Deadline at last night's Emmy Awards.
John Ternus pulled the Duo out of his front pocket, and quickly showcased the device fully open. In what is likely the iPhone Duo's first real-world appearance outside of Apple Park, the device still featured its almost creaseless display, with no visible dip in the video.

Ternus, and Apple's SVP of Services Eddy Cue, were at the Emmys following multiple nominations for Apple TV shows, including Widow's Bay, Pluribus and Slow Horses.
Cue told Deadline that it was “an amazing night,” and referred to competitors such as Netflix and HBO as "incredible companies that do amazing work". Of course, Eddy Cue also leads the Apple App Store, which hosts these streaming services. HBO Max is number 12 in entertainment on the App Store, followed by Netflix at 15.
Apple TV shows received a total of 28 wins, with Widow's Bay breaking records for horror comedy and coming top of the ceremony last night.
- Widow’s Bay (14 Wins) Including Outstanding Comedy Series, Lead Comedy Actor (Matthew Rhys), Supporting Comedy Actor (Stephen Root), and Supporting Comedy Actress (Kate O’Flynn).
- Pluribus (6 Wins) Including Outstanding Production Design, Picture Editing, and Original Main Title Theme Music.
- Margo's Got Money Troubles (3 Wins) Recognised for Outstanding Contemporary Costumes, Hairstyling, and Makeup.
- Palm Royale (3 Wins) Wins included Outstanding Choreography, Period Costumes, and Period or Fantasy/Sci-Fi Makeup.
- Other Wins Apple also scored wins for Slow Horses, the documentary Mr. Scorsese, and the commercial "I'm Not Remarkable".
Apple was the biggest studio at this year’s awards, a first for the company that started its streaming service seven years ago. This compares to 19 years from Netflix, and about 16 years from HBO.
