Apple CEO Tim Cook has paid tribute to Dolly Parton following her death today, aged 80.
Parton's family announced the country singer's death via a social media post earlier today, according to BBC News.
Tim Cook has joined tributes for Parton, posting on X that she was a brilliant songwriter and cultural icon.
"Dolly Parton’s music helped light up the world. She was a brilliant songwriter, cultural icon, and dedicated philanthropist who helped instill a love of reading and learning in millions of children around the world. May she rest in peace."
