Apple has today confirmed on its website that iOS 27, macOS 27 Golden Gate, iPadOS 27 and watchOS will release on Monday, 14th September, alongside all new Apple Intelligence features and Siri AI in English.
Version 27 of Apple's platforms were first announced in at WWDC26 in June, featuring performance improvements, design enhancements and the all-new Siri AI.
iOS 27, macOS Golden Gate and Apple's other platforms are more responsive, with the company fixing dozens of bugs that plagued the previous versions.
Siri has been overhauled with its own App, on screen awareness and personal context. Apple has revamped Siri to live in the Dynamic Island on iPhone, and in Spotlight on the Mac and iPad.
Apple has also expanded its AI photo editing tools, with tools to expand and reframe an image. Image cleanup has been revamped, matching capabilities offered by competitors.

Compatibility
iOS 27 requires an iPhone 11 or newer, Apple Intelligence and Siri AI is available on iPhone 15 Pro or newer.
macOS 27 Golden Gate requires an Apple Silicon Mac.
watchOS 27 requires an Apple Watch Series 9 or newer.
