Apple has today announced that AppleCare One will launch in the UK next week, following it's launch in the US last year.

AppleCare One gives Apple customers the choice to cover multiple devices with the same insurance plan, rather than cover each of their devices independently. The plan provides coverage for accidental damage, battery replacements and "priority access to Apple experts."

The plan launches on Tuesday, 4th August and will cost £16.99 a month to cover three devices. Customers will also be able to add additional products for £4.99 each, per month.

Unlike the existing AppleCare program, Apple is allowing users to cover devices they already own that are past the initial 60-day AppleCare period. The companies website says that "Most devices less than four years old" are eligible, but that they must be "in good working condition."

The service will also rollout to Australia, Germany and France.

In addition to AppleCare One, AppleCare+ now offers theft and loss coverage to Apple Watch and iPad users, expanding the offer that was previously exclusive to iPhone.
