Apple has increased the cost of its AppleCare+ monthly and annual plans for iPad and Mac, according to a report from Bloomberg via 9to5Mac.
New Apple customers who take out the plan, which extends the devices warranty and includes additional benefits such as repairs for accidental damage, will now pay an extra $0.50 a month (£0.37) or $5 a year (£3.69) depending on the plan.
Existing AppleCare+ customers are not affected, and will continue to be charged at the old rate.
