Apple has today updated its online store at apple.com/uk and the Apple Store App with a colourful makeover ahead of the Christmas shopping period.

The change incorporates Apple's range of colourful products and accessories to create colourful patterns across the website, and the company has also extended the product return window for the Christmas period

A Colourful Makeover

When you land on the Apple Store webpage there is now a colour-changing glow that lights up the top of the page, along with a colour-changing Apple Logo that seemingly represent the colourful Christmas string lights many people wrap around their Christmas trees.

This is paired with new colourful product tiles showing off the latest products from Apple, swapping out the usual black and white tones.

Apple has also got creative with the promotional images this year. They incorporate Apple's wide range of products to create abstract patterns and different designs.

Below are some examples of these designs, including the use of MacBook Neos, HomePod minis and iPhone Duo Folios to create colourful patterned designs.

Some shoppers have also spotted these designs in Apple Stores, as they also get ready for the festive period.

An X user from Japan shared some images of the new Apple marketing in their local Apple Store, which creates fun designs and patterns using the MacBook Neo, HomePod mini, iPhone Crossbody Strap and Magic Mouse.

Extended Return Period

At Christmas, there is always the worry that you might gift someone something they don't want. Apple has therefore made it easier to return any item bought from Apple between the 6th November to 25th December with an extended returns period.

Most items purchased between this window can be returned up until the 8th January 2027, which will give peace of mind to anyone making a big Christmas purchase from the Apple Store.

Where is this Christmas update live?

It appears that Apple has kicked off the Christmas period with its colourful website redesign across the UK, Ireland, Mainland Europe, North America, Oceania and other regions around the world that celebrate Christmas.

The extended return period varies by region, but most of Apple's major markets including the UK, US, Canada, Japan and Australia are operating an extended returns period.
