Apple has redesigned the traffic light window controls in macOS 27 Golden Gate Developer Beta 6, to resemble a more glassy design.
The new look, spotted by X user Andreas Storm (@avstorm), resembles a modern refresh of the macOS aqua design language, that was introduced by Steve Jobs way back in 2000.

This is a much-requested update, with many liquid glass concepts incorporating a glass design into the windowing controls. Apple has not changed the function of these buttons, this is purely a design change.
