Apple has today released iOS 26.6, iPadOS 26.6, macOS Tahoe 26.6, watchOS 26.6, visionOS 26.6 and tvOS 26.6.
This latest release is a minor update, as development for version 26 of Apple's platforms winds down ahead of Version 27 later this year.
Indexing for Siri AI
When updating to iOS 26.6 and iPadOS 26.6, your iPhone or iPad will begin the indexing process required for the next generation of Siri AI that will debut as part of iOS and iPadOS 27.
This should hopefully speed up the process later this year.
Blocked Contacts Alert
A new alert when someone hits the blocked contacts limit has also been added for iPhone.
Anti-theft Feature Did Not Launch
However, the anti-theft feature previously expected still seems to be under development.
Bug Fixes & Performance Improvements
All platforms have received many bug fixes, performance enhancements and security fixes.
