Apple has today released iOS 26.6.2 and iPadOS 26.6.2, a small bug fix update that resolves an issue when trying to software update when on mobile data.
The release note says:
This update fixes an issue that prevents downloading a software update over a mobile data connection
This is likely the final iOS/iPadOS 26 release ahead of the launch of iOS/iPadOS 27 which could come as soon as next week, bringing a new and improved Siri AI, performance improvements. liquid glass refinements and additional parental control features.
