Apple today has released version 4.2 of the Apple Sports app, expanding the range of football leagues available following the conclusion of the FIFA World Cup 2026.
The Apple Sports app made its debut in February 2024, and has played an important role over the past month allowing football fans to keep track of their favourite teams in the World Cup.
Following the final of footballs biggest global event, Apple is now adding support for seven additional leagues from across the world.

Apple has also introduced formations for "most" football leagues.
The company says that this addition will make it "easier to visualise the starting lineup for each match."
