Ted Lasso returns for its much-anticipated fourth season tomorrow, Wednesday 5th August 2026, exclusively to Apple TV (formerly Apple TV+).
Whilst earlier seasons focused on the fictional men's football team, AFC Richmond, season 4 introduces an all-new women's team, coached by Ted Lasso.
This includes new cast members, in addition to the return of Hannah Waddingham, Juno Temple, Brett Goldstein, Brendan Hunt and Jeremy Swift.
Notable cast members, including James Lance, who played journalist Trent Crimm, will not appear in the fourth season.
Anthony Head, who played Rupert Mannion, will also not appear, following his death in early June at the age of 72.
He was not set to appear in Season 4.
Apple TV Press has confirmed the season will feature 10 episodes.
Apple is releasing one episode every Wednesday, until 7th October.
The third season of Ted Lasso premiered in 2023. Despite this three-year gap between new episodes, the show has mostly remained in Apple TV's top 10.
To watch Ted Lasso, an Apple TV subscription is required.
