AirPods 3 were Apple's entry-level wireless earbuds for everyday listening when on-the-go or watching content at home.

They were originally referred to as AirPods (3rd generation) at launch but were renamed following the launch of AirPods 4.

Apple offered 2 charging case variants for this generation of AirPods; one with just the lightning port and the other with both the lightning port and MagSafe.

Predecessor: AirPods (2nd generation)

Battery
Apple rates AirPods 3 with up to 6 hours on a single charge and up to 30 hours for the case.

5 minutes in the case gives about an hour of listening time.
