AirPods 3 were Apple's entry-level wireless earbuds for everyday listening when on the go or watching content at home.

They were originally referred to as AirPods (3rd generation) at launch but were renamed following the launch of AirPods 4.

Apple offered 2 charging case variants for this generation of AirPods; one with just the lightning port and the other with both the lightning port and MagSafe.

These AirPods used Apple's first generation H1 chip.

Battery

Apple rates AirPods 3 with up to 6 hours on a single charge and up to 30 hours for the case.

5 minutes in the case gives about an hour of listening time.
