This model was missing many listening modes and advanced features that Apple reserved for the more premium AirPods Pro line or their ANC edition of AirPods 4.

Battery

Apple rates AirPods 4 with up to 5 hours on a single charge and up to 30 hours for the case.

5 minutes in the case gives about an hour of listening time.
