Dive Deeper
AirPods Max 1 were the first-ever AirPods over-ear headphones. This model introduced the iconic design of AirPods Max, the Smart Case and launched with a lightning port for charging.
This device comes with a Smart Case, which puts the AirPods in an ultra-low power state that preserves battery life while not in use. This case has been criticised for its lack of protection to the Aluminium ear cups, which are still exposed to debris and objects when placed in a bag.
