AirPods Max 1 (USB-C)

AirPods Max 1 (USB-C) are Apple's 2nd-generation of their own-brand headphones, introduced as part of the lightning to USB-C connector transition.

This generation was a small change over the original AirPods Max 1, as Apple replaced the lightning connector with a USB-C port. This allowed the device to support Lossless audio, and charge with the same cable as your iPhone, iPad and Mac.

Along with a new port, Apple refreshed the colour lineup.

Design

Aluminium ear cups, stainless steel frame with a mesh top canopy available in Midnight, Starlight, Blue, Purple and Orange.

Battery

Apple rates AirPods Max 1 (USB-C) with up to 20 hours on a single charge and the device can enter an ultra-low-power state when in the case.

5 minutes in the case gives about an hour and a half of listening time.

Listening Modes

AirPods Max 1 (USB-C) supports transparency mode to let outside sounds in and noise cancellation to block out other sounds.
