iPad mini (A17 Pro) was Apple's smallest iPad sold between 2024-2026 made to be portable and pocketable.

This is the first iPad mini model to support Apple Intelligence & Siri AI, as it utilises the oldest chip that supports Apple's AI capabilities, the A17 Pro.

With this generation, Apple introduced a new Blue finish to the iPad mini, replacing Pink that was offered on the 6th generation model.

Apple's iPad mini line is one of two iPad models that has a True Tone flash on the back. The only other model with this feature is the iPad Pro.

It was the final iPad model in Apple's entire lineup to use a portrait front camera, as the successor to this device switched to a landscape position. This was also the final iPad mini to use an LCD panel, before it was overhauled with OLED.

iPad mini (A17 Pro) launched in 2024 priced at £499, for 128GB of storage. In June 2026, Apple increased the price of the iPad mini to £599.
