iPad Pro (M1) was the first iPad model to use Apple's M-series silicon, chips that were built for the Mac.

This iPad was available in 2 sizes, 11-inches and 12.9-inches. Apple officially distinguishes both models as iPad Pro 11-inch (3rd generation) and iPad Pro 12.9-inch (5th generation).

The larger 12.9-inch model had a better mini-LED Retina XDR screen, for deeper blacks and better contrast, compared to the smaller iPad.
