iPad Pro (M2) was the second Pro iPad to use Apple's more powerful M-series silicon.

This generation introduced Apple Pencil Hover, a feature which casts a shadow before you place the pencil and where UI elements such as buttons, react to the Apple Pencil before it's placed on the screen.

This iPad was available in 2 sizes, 11-inches and 12.9-inches. Apple officially distinguishes both models as iPad Pro 11-inch (4th generation) and iPad Pro 12.9-inch (6th generation).

The larger 12.9-inch model had a better mini-LED Retina XDR screen, for deeper blacks and better contrast, compared to the smaller iPad.

This was the last iPad Pro generation with the dual camera system and split-generation naming system.
