iPad Pro (M4) was the first iPad to receive a Tandem OLED display and was the thinnest Apple product ever, thinner than iPod nano by 0.4mm.

The 13-inch model is just 5.1mm thin.

Apple introduced the Apple Pencil Pro alongside this device, expanding the number of features of the Pencil lineup.

iPad Pro (M4) saw some camera degrades compared to its predecessor, as Apple switched from a dual camera system to a single 12MP Wide Camera - dropping the 10MP Ultra Wide.

This iPad was available in 2 sizes, 11-inches and 13-inches. This is the first iPad Pro generation where Apple officially to identifying models by their chip, not their generation.

The M4 iPad Pro is the first Pro model to have a landscape front camera, as more users take video calls when using an attached Magic Keyboard.

Apple removed the 128GB storage variant for this device, which started from 256GB.
