iPhone 6

iPhone 6 was the first major redesign to the iPhone series, featuring curved edges and a much larger display which was taller and wider than the previous iPhone 5s.

iPhone 6 was part of the 2014 generation of iPhones, which included the iPhone 6 Plus, and was the best-selling iPhone series of all time with 222+ million units sold (as of June 2017).

Despite its popularity, the device was subject to the 'Bendgate' controversies in 2014, when many users reported the device bending when in a tight trouser pocket.

Apple denied this was a widespread problem, and said that they had only received nine complaints about this issue.

A major new feature on the iPhone 6 was Apple Pay, which allowed iPhone users to pay in shops with their phone, instead of using a traditional debit card.

Apple Pay has shipped with every iPhone since.

Other changes included the movement of the power button which had traditionally been on top of the device. Apple moved it to the right side of the device and has often referred to it as the Side Button, which can also invoke Siri and has been used on more modern iPhone models to invoke Visual Intelligence.
