iPhone SE (2nd generation) was the entry-level iPhone sold between 2020 and 2022.
The device launched via press release alongside a new iPad Pro and MacBook Air, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
It was a significant upgrade over the 1st generation iPhone SE, with a newer design, similar to iPhone 8 and a larger screen.
The iPhone SE (2nd generation) retained the home button, despite Apple launching its first iPhone without the button 3 years prior.
