Dive Deeper

Mac mini is Apple's smallest desktop built for productivity, coding and creative work. It is very capable despite its size. The M6 and M5 Pro models feature the same external design as its predecessor, which saw a chassis redesign in October 2024.

This redesign reduced the size of the Mac, so it now takes up less surface area on a desk. Along with this redesign, Apple introduced front ports to the Mac, with two usb-c ports and a headphone jack.

The M6 and M5 Pro series have seen significant price increases compared to the previous generation, with a higher initial launch price of £300.

With the price increase, the device has the same base storage and memory, but has two additional CPU and GPU cores, a dual neural engine, and 2.5 gigabit ethernet.
