MacBook Air (M2)

MacBook Air (M2) was Apple's 2nd-generation Apple Silicon Air laptop.

Apple introduced a new design with this generation, the first design change for this product in 4 years. The changes included new colours, a bigger, brighter display, a flat chassis design and a MagSafe 3 charging port.

A new finish Apple introduced, Midnight, was criticised for being a 'fingerprint magnet', as you could easily see smudges where someone picks the device up.

The darker finish was also more prone to showing scratches, as the darker Midnight coating wore off to show the Silver underneath. This was especially noticeable around the ports and corners of the device.

M2 launched as just a 13-inch laptop before the 15-inch was introduced a year later, with a better speaker system.
