Apple reclaims it's crown as the world's most valuable company once again, as the company surges ahead of Nvidia.
Just 10 days ago, we reported that Apple had briefly taken over Nvidia by $60 billion USD, as the most valuable company.
About an hour later, Nvidia took over again, in what has been a neck and neck race between the two companies.
Today, the gap has widened to about $200 billion USD as Apple sits on the brink of a $5 trillion market cap.
The official numbers, as of 16:24 BST are:
- Apple: $4.97 Trillion
- Nvidia: $4.77 Trillion
Apple could reach a $5 trillion valuation today, or Nvidia could reclaim the top spot once again. As the markets continue to shift in the age of AI, either outcome is plausible.
