Apple has released new beta versions of it's current-generation software, providing developers with an unusual 3-point beta update.
The new versions are:
- iOS 26.6.1
- iPadOS 26.6.1
- macOS Tahoe 26.6.2
These releases are likely security and bug fixes, as Apple does not usually add features this late in the software cycle. Though, it is unclear why the company has chosen to release a beta for such a minor update.
iOS, iPadOS and macOS 26 are set to be succeeded by version 27 next month. The next-generation platforms have also received updates today, with the launch of Developer Beta 5.
