Apple's annual student offer on select Mac and iPad models, where customers can claim a free Apple gift card with an eligible order, ends in just a couple of days’ time on Thursday, 22nd October 2026.

The promotion launched over two months ago, on the 12th August across select European nations, with Everything Apple the first to report on the promotion as the store went down late in the night.

If you're in the market for a new Mac or iPad, and can verify your student status with UNiDAYS, you can still make use of the offer from their website, and get a gift card worth up to £120.

Eligible Products

The offer applies to these four Apple Products:

  • MacBook Air - £80 gift card
  • iPad Air - £80 gift card
  • MacBook Pro - £120 gift card
  • iPad Pro - £80 gift card

If you were looking at buying one of these devices, the gift card could be a nice addition which you can spend on Apple's online store or at a retail location.

An £80 gift card could get you an Apple Pencil (USB-C) to pair with your new iPad, or you could use the £120 gift card from the MacBook Pro to get yourself the new AirPods 5.

On top of the gift card, Apple's education store sells all Mac, iPad and Apple Watch models at a discount, in addition to select Apple accessories.

Including the gift card, you can also claim £100 off every MacBook model, £100 off the iPad Pro and a £50 discount on the iPad Air.

These discounts are available all year round, but the gift card is a limited-time offer.

Should you make use of the offer?

Apple recently announced a 'Pro and tell' launch event which takes place on the 28th October, six days after the student offer ends.

We're expecting an all-new MacBook Pro that’s lighter, potentially thinner, and features a better OLED screen with touchscreen capabilities. This means if you do use the offer on the MacBook Pro, yes you are getting a £120 gift card, but you are making the purchase just before a significant refresh.

If this offer is compelling, and the newer features don't interest you, the current MacBook Pro is a capable machine that will last you some time, but be aware that this device is expected to be discontinued next week.

For the three other devices, they are not expected to refresh until spring 2027, so they are okay purchases with no immediate changes just around the corner.
