iPad (9th generation) was Apple's entry-level iPad model, launched in 2021.

A newer model with a major redesign and price bump was announced the following year, though this device remained on sale as the budget entry-level option.

This was the final iPad model to use a home button, before the lineup fully switched to the new design.

iPad (9th generation) began at 64GB of storage and was compatible with Apple Pencil (1st generation).

Aluminium enclosure available in Silver and Space Grey.

Display
10.2-inch Retina Display with 60Hz refresh rate. The screen is not laminated, so there is a gap between the screen and front glass.

8MP camera on the back & a 1.2MP front FaceTime HD camera. The iPad has stereo speakers.
