Apple CEO Tim Cook has announced that the company will donate to relief efforts following an earthquake in Indonesia.
The earthquake took place early on Saturday morning, local time, according to BBC News. According to their reporting, atleast 53 fatalities have been recorded, following the magnitude 7.7 earthquake.
In a post on X, Tim Cook said:
"Our hearts are with the people of Indonesia following the devastating earthquake. We are grateful for the first responders giving support and helping those in need. Apple is donating to support the relief efforts on the ground."

Apple often donates to relief efforts, following natural disasters.
Just last month, Apple donated to relief efforts following the earthquake in Japan and wildfires across Europe. In June, Apple donated to relief efforts following a major earthquake in Venezuela, that killed hundreds of people.
