Get buying advice

The Product Library is not just a way to explore history, it can also help you make buying decisions if you're searching for a new Apple device.
The library is constantly updated when Apple announces new products and integrates even the newest product lines such as the iPhone Duo and Apple HomeView.
Everything Apple assigns products currently sold by Apple with one of five buying advice statuses:
- Just announced
- Pre-order
- Good to buy
- Refresh expected soon
- Refresh imminent
These labels appear on each device in the Product Library providing users with an easy way to find out if they should buy the product now, or wait as a new one is expected soon.
Everything Apple constantly monitors these categories, and adjusts labels based on industry rumours, Apple release patterns and offers an easy status filter in the Product Library to discover which products are currently assigned to each category.
Recommendations

In addition to buying advice statuses, each product currently sold by Apple has a recommendation or note on its product page, with advice about the device.
For example, the iPhone Air is currently available from Apple for £1,099. Retailers such as Amazon often discount the product as low as £699, so the advice reflects Everything Apple's findings which could help you save up to £400.
Other important notes including common complaints, and information not communicated to Apple customers through their promotional materials are also shared here.
The Everything Apple Product Library is the ultimate place to explore Apple history and make decisions about your future Apple setup.
Today View

Today View is the latest addition to the Everything Apple Product Library, introducing an easy way to discover today's product anniversaries, or upcoming product anniversaries.
It is a fun addition for curious Apple fans to explore daily to find out what product is marking an anniversary on this day.
Product Anniversary Notifications
If you don't have time to go digging through the Today View, you'll be notified on the day a product is marking its anniversary with push notifications.
You can simply tap on the notification to jump right in and explore the history and details of the product released on this day.
You can subscribe to notifications for free in settings, and receive a notification at 9AM UK time if a product is marking an anniversary on that day.
iOS and iPadOS users who wish to subscribe to notifications must add Everything Apple as a web app to their home page first, with full instructions on the settings page.
Filters and Search

The Product Library had been built for general browsing, category discovery and for people who know exactly what they are looking for.
If you're just exploring, the page supports infinite scrolling so that you can slowly scroll back in time past hundreds of Apple devices and accessories.
You can also adjust the layout with the sort filter, to show the newest or oldest first, alphabetically order products or sort by price high or low.
If you're looking to dive deeper into a specific product category, you can do so with the devices filter.
This includes:
- Accessories
- iPhone
- iPad
- Watch
- Mac
- AirPods
- TV
- Vision
- HomePod
- HomeView
We are also looking at expanding to iPod in the future.
These individual devices can then be filtered again with the category filter. This includes individual product lines such as Pro iPhones, iPad Airs, iMacs and HomePod minis.
Other useful filters include filter by release year, and the status filter which was mentioned earlier.
Finally, if you are looking for an exact product, you can simply type the name into the search bar and get your result straight away.
