Apple's online store is now down as the company prepares the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max for pre-orders later today.

The company's flagship iPhone models, with the new A20 Pro chip, Variable Aperture camera features and extended battery life will be available from the 18th September, alongside the Apple Watch Series 12, Apple Watch Ultra 4 and AirPods 5 which have been available to pre-order since they were announced earlier in the week.

Pre-orders take place at the same time globally, 12PM UTC. Here's some of the major markets where you'll be able to pre-order, based on your local timezone:

  • 🇬🇧 UK (BST): 1:00 PM
  • 🇺🇸🇨🇦 US & Canada (ET): 8:00 AM
  • 🇮🇳 India (IST): 5:30 PM
  • 🇦🇺 Australia (Sydney): 11:00 PM
  • 🇯🇵 Japan: 9:00 PM
  • 🇨🇳 China: 8:00 PM

iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max are available in four colours: Silver, Glacier, Black and Burgundy. They start from 256GB of storage and can be upgraded to 512GB, 1TB or 2TB.

The smaller iPhone 18 Pro starts from £1,199, up £100 compared to last year.

The larger iPhone 18 Pro Max starts from £1,299, also up £100 compared to 2025.

One iPhone you won't be able to pre-order today is the iPhone Duo, which will be available to pre-order in a month’s time on Friday, 16th October.

Today, Apple will accept trade-ins and payment plans at checkout, though many customers may have already got this information prepared with the get ready option from earlier in the week.

This allows some customers in select regions to prepare their basket for pre-order day, so they can quickly place an order and get their iPhone before delivery dates begin to slip.

Due to high demand, iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max delivery dates are expected to slip into October.
