Everything Apple has today released Version 0.9.13 Beta, introducing site-wide search and new discovery features for better navigability across the site.

This release includes a new Topic Discovery page to browse your favourite Apple subjects, a new navigation bar on the news page to easily find popular Everything Apple topics and debuts site-wide search to find articles, guides, products and site features.

In addition to these changes, Everything Apple also debuted Apple Timeline, a new way to explore five decades of Apple history including leadership transitions, software releases, product launches and key milestones.

Site Wide Search

Always accessible in the top right, the new site-wide search function allows users to quickly and easily find articles, guides and products related to a certain topic.

Users interested in a specific device, such as the iPhone 16 Pro, can simply query the device in the search bar for curated results from across Everything Apple. Site-wide search combines three major areas of the site - news, guides and products - to provide the user with the results they need.

Keywords and popular queries also return a feature card with the information you're looking for, whether you're asking 'what was the first iPhone' or looking for 'ecosystem track'.

Topic Discovery

Everything Apple has improved topic discovery with a new navigation bar on the News page, which promotes popular topics that you can explore, from Apple Retail and company news to opinion pieces on Apple’s products and services.

Each topic has its own dedicated hub which can be filtered further by search or sorted by date.

If you're not sure which topics you can explore, Everything Apple v0.9.13 Beta makes it easier than ever to discover topics with our Browse Topics page, which is a complete list of every topic.

Further News Page Updates

In addition to these changes, the News page now features a dedicated Most Read section, highlighting the three most popular stories on the site from the past week.

This gives visitors an easy way to see what others are reading and provides insight into which stories are currently attracting the most interest.

View Counter Improvements

To improve the accuracy of view counts, which are used to determine the daily trending article and the Most Read stories of the week, Everything Apple has taken steps to reduce the number of bots and crawlers triggering view counts.

Visitors must now remain on an article page for a certain amount of time before their view is registered. This helps produce a more representative view count by reducing views generated by automated traffic and visitors who leave an article almost immediately.
