Apple has announced a September Apple Event, taking place on Wednesday, 9th September at 6pm BST (10am local time).

The event, with the tagline 'Surprise and Shine', will be John Ternus' first product launch as CEO, after he takes over from Tim Cook on Tuesday.

Hidden Message

Apple usually hides a message in the Apple logo related to the event. Last year, the logo represented the colours of a thermal camera, as Apple debuted the new pro iPhones with vapour chamber cooling.

This year's logo depicts the glare from the sun, on a blue background that appears to be the sky.

The colour theme of the logo reflects the rumoured colours of the iPhone 18 Pro, with a sky blue background and red/pink outline on the logo. This years pro iPhone models are expected to launch in Sky Blue, Dark Cherry and Silver/Grey.
