Apple has just announced its September iPhone event, 'Surprise and shine', taking place on Wednesday, 9th September at 6pm BST.
As usual, Apple might have hidden some secret messages in the events logo, so here's what it could mean.
The Logo
This year's Apple Event logo shows a photo of the sun in the blue sky.
The glare from the sun has formed the outline of the Apple logo, which includes hints of white, yellow, and a light red/pink colour.
iPhone 18 Pro Colours
The entire colour theme of the event poster matches the colour theme of the rumoured iPhone 18 Pro lineup.
The blue sky could represent the new light blue (or more fittingly named Sky Blue) iPhone 18 Pro colour option. The Apple logo outline, which appears slightly red and pink, could represent the Dark Cherry finish we are expecting.
Variable Aperture
iPhone 18 Pro is rumoured to receive Variable Aperture, a mechanical addition to the camera that physically adjusts how much light it lets in.
This works in a similar way to the human eye, where the pupil grows bigger to let more light in when it's dark and shrinks in brighter light.
The camera would open wider when in night mode to let in more light, reducing the darkness and grainy effect of the photo.
This will reduce the iPhones reliance on software and AI image processing, providing a more authentic camera experience.
The logo shows glare when looking into the sunlight, potentially representing this camera addition to Apple's pro iPhone models.
Foldable iPhone
Nothing in this logo suggests a foldable iPhone is coming, though Apple maybe wants to keep this a complete secret until a potential 'One more thing' announcement, towards the end of the keynote.
Of course, the supply chain rumours and leaks have let the secret out anyway.
