John Ternus has launched his X account after becoming Apple CEO today, 1st September 2026.
Ternus' new account, with the handle @johnternus, has already amassed over 100,000 followers, and is followed by former Apple CEO, Tim Cook.
His first post is simply "hello", and has received over 3 million likes in less than one hour.
We are certain the account is official, as it is an affiliate of the official Apple X account, and is followed by Tim Cook.
Apple's former CEO, Tim Cook, who is now Executive Chairman, has also updated his X profile, to reflect his role change.
The new John Ternus account will be the one to watch for the latest product announcements and event teasers.
