In the latest edition of his Power On newsletter, Mark Gurman reports that Apple's retail stores are preparing for changes to its home, TV and accessory sections ahead of new products launching later this year.
The sections, reportedly called Avenues, showcase Apple's accessories along the walls of the store. These include displays for AirPods, HomePods, iPhone cases and the Apple TV 4K.
Apple plans to overhaul these sections for its new home products, including all-new devices, such as the rumoured HomePad.
Gurman says that "the scale of the retail changes suggests something else is coming", as the company is looking to modify full sections of its stores.
What's Coming?
We are expecting a full refresh of Apple's Home and TV devices, as early as September, following the launch of Siri AI. You may have heard the rumours of new HomePods before, as these were reportedly put on the back burner, following Apple Intelligence and Siri delays.
With the new software releasing later this year, the refreshed HomePod mini, HomePod and Apple TV 4K can finally launch. Some of these products, such as the HomePod mini, are over five years old.
Apple is also expected to launch its first home device with a display, which could be the reason Apple are reportedly making these store changes.
