Siri AI and the Siri app have arrived on Apple Watch in the latest watchOS 27 Beta release.

Apple first released the new chatbot version of Siri last month during WWDC26 to its other software platforms, including iOS and macOS.

Siri did not however, arrive on Apple Watch, which was still stuck with the old version of the assistant found on devices not compatible with Apple Intelligence or iPhones, iPads and Macs running older software versions.

In 2024, Apple announced the new version of Siri as part of iOS 18, but delays meant this did not amount to much more than a new rainbow look. This new look did not arrive to Apple Watch, with Apple seemingly forgetting to add Apple Intelligence to this device.

Now, with watchOS 27, Siri has received an overhaul with a dedicated Siri app that appears in the centre of the new dynamic grid layout and syncs with all your iCloud connected devices.

The assistant is now a chatbot on your wrist where users can talk to their Apple Watch just like ChatGPT, continue conversations from other devices and ask Siri to take actions, such as set a timer.

9to5Mac reports that users who update to the latest beta version may need to wait for the new version of Siri to load onto the device before using the Siri App or Siri AI.
