In a statement, Apple CEO Tim Cook said "Today, Apple is proud to report our strongest June quarter ever, with double-digit revenue growth across iPhone, Mac and Services, and in every geographic segment".

The companies CFO, Kevan Parekh, said "We are very pleased with our record business performance" and said that the number of Apple's active devices "reached a new all-time high across all major product categories."

These results come just days after Apple reclaimed its spot as the world's most valuable company, as investors are becoming increasingly frustrated that huge AI spending is not translating into short-term profits.

During the third quarter, Apple released no new hardware, as the company focused on WWDC26, the new Siri AI, and their beta software programme.

Apple did, however, raise hardware prices across multiple product lines, including Mac, iPad and HomePod. The market initially had a negative reaction, but the company has now more than recovered with a market cap around $5 trillion.

Despite price hikes, Apple has seen substantial growth in China, amid a declining phone market. iPhone sales are up 24.4% year over year in the nation.

This was Tim Cook's last quarterly earnings announcement as CEO, before John Ternus takes over in September.

The earnings call will begin later today, at 22:00 BST.
